Merry Market
The Fredericksburg Area Service League, Inc. (FASL) of Fredericksburg, Virginia is preparing for its Fifth Annual three day Boutique Craft Event: Merry Market 2011. This year, Merry Market will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011 from 10:00am to 5:00pm and Sunday, November 20, 2011 from 11:00am to 4:00 pm at The Riverside Center (95 Riverside Parkway, Fredericksburg, VA 22406). The FASL will host Jingle Bell Cocktail Preview Party with cocktails, appetizers, silent auction and door prizes on Friday, November 18, 2011 from 7:00pm to 10:00pm. A limited number of tickets will be available. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Guests must be 21 or older to attend Jingle Bell Cocktail.
Merry Market will feature a variety of unique and one-of-a-kind artisans and vendors who are carefully selected to ensure a fun holiday shopping experience for all. Our past vendors have included jewelers, potters, customized stationary vendors, knitters, clothing lines, handbag vendors, painters, pewter ware and more!

Proceeds from Merry Market will be donated to children's charities of Fredericksburg and surrounding areas. To date the FASL has contributed over $500,000 to our community. Some of our past partnerships include: Spotsylvania YMCA (donating $25,000 to the area's only 100% handicapped-accessible playground), Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter ($7,000 to build a children's playground) and Kenmore Playground ($50,000 to build an infant and toddler playground and brick pathway). Additionally, our members volunteer countless hours to families and children in need throughout the Fredericksburg area.
