Each member is also required to give 10 hours of hands-on assistance to the organizations and people we help. For example, reading aloud to children at the Children's Musuem of Richmond-Fredericsksburg, presenting a college scholarship to a senior high school student or providing assistance at a Rappahannock Big Brothers Big Sisters event. All of these hours are very rewarding. You can choose when and where you are able to help.
Women from diverse backgrounds make up FASL and it is a bonding and fulfilling experience. You can directly impact the community you live in and make new friendships along the way.
